Ramona couldn't believe her ears. Sebastian said he trusted her and even smiled. He wasn't lying and the aura that came off of him was….kind and sincere. What had changed him? Could he have been listening to her entire conversation?

Thinking about that, Ramona's heart began to speed up but then remembering he wanted to know the truth about her, the shadows, and why she was here made her heart sink deep into a cold, dark, and bottomless well where it may as well not rise again.

"You want to know the truth and even to get that truth; you are willing to put aside our differences?" Ramona asked him one more time. The sun was then covered up by the clouds moving in, making the room less lighted by the windows.

"Yes…" Sebastian whispered. Ramona knew that if she told him, everything would change. Not just how this game would be played, but also what he thought of her.

"At midnight, meet me at my bedroom door." Ramona said before getting up and going off to do some other chores. Sebastian smiled at this and for the first time in years, he couldn't wait to meet someone again.

It was obvious that he had given up into his temptation for her even though they were both enemies. He was the one that started it, and he may as well finish it to the end. This didn't mean he loved her. What this meant was that he had just given in to wanting something that he shouldn't have instead of ignoring it and moving on. Until Ramona was infatuated with him, he would play this dangerous game. Ramona still seemed hesitant but he would surely make her fall in love with him.

Upon coming to Ramona's door did Sebastian notice other presences with Ramona. Before he could even knock on her door it swung open. It was Ramona who looked pale and ill for some reason.

"Welcome, come in." Ramona said tiredly. Unexpectedly inviting him made him more consciences of his surroundings. Upon walking in he felt the strong barrier that Ramona had created. He then came across two tall, dark black haired men. One with violet eyes and a serious look like Ramona and the other one had emerald eyes and a more peaceful look to him.

"These are my… friends. James and George Goldwin. They'll be keeping guard in this room while I tell you about the past and the future." James with the violet eyes nodded his head in greetings to Sebastian and George with the emerald eyes just smiled.

Ramona walked over to her closet while Sebastian followed keeping a keen eye on the twins. Opening the door, he could hear it creak. It was…another room. No, it was the same room but, different. Ramona moved to the side and gestured Sebastian to go in first. He did as followed without looking back.

Ramona walked in next and closed the door. The room should have gone dark if it hadn't been for a wax candle sitting on top of a tea table. Next Ramona gestured for Sebastian to sit in a chair across from her. Sebastian didn't know if he should be worried about Ramona or keep his demon pride up.

"Sebastian, are you sure you still want to know about what happened to Ciel…and me." Ramona's strength looked like it was draining. Sebastian couldn't keep his question in any longer.

"I'm ready but I need to know now why you look so… exhausted" Sebastian waited for Ramona to respond. She finally moved her mouth.

"Just the thought of Jeremiah makes me… ill…That is all." Ramona whispered. Even
Sebastian had to stretch his ears out to hear what she had said.

"Who's Jeremiah?" Sebastian's eyes started to glow a dangers bloody red.

"Never mind that, you will hear of it later. Give me your hands." Sebastian feeling anger burn inside him slowly put his hands in Ramona's. There was no pain for they both were wearing gloves.

"Let us begin in…Heaven." Ramona said before Sebastian was blinded by a huge ray of pure light. Shielding his eyes, he could not sense Ramona anymore. Adjusting his eyes to the rays of light did he find himself in a long white hallway. He could hear someone playing a melody that was bright but at the same time had a sad tune to it. There was a small crack in the door. Looking through it he saw Ramona playing the piano. He was about to enter when he saw a man with short pure snow white hair and a white suit come from behind Ramona. Without stopping Ramona quietly smiled.

"You know, I can never get tired of hearing you play this. I enjoy the tune but the best part is seeing you smile." Sebastian still couldn't see his face but he knew for sure that this man was his rival for Ramona.

Once Ramona had finished the piece did she look up at the man with a beautiful bright smile. That man was the only thing she thought of.

"Jeremiah…." The man named Jeremiah slowly leaned his face towards Ramona. Before Sebastian could open the door the place he was in slowly blurred and brought up a new scene.

This time, the room he was standing in was a court room. There were three men on each side of one single man. The person standing next to him was Jeremiah.

"Ramona," the head council spoke her name, "As you know, the young boy Jeremiah found, Ciel Phantomhive is a danger to the balance to the human world and disrupts the balance between heaven and hell." This man had no kindness in his voice.

"Yes, sir." Ramona was kneeling in front of him on the white tiled floor. Her eyes were serious and cold.

"Jeremiah has told us that the best choice of action is to kill the young boy." Ramona's body tensed up. Out of the corner of Sebastian's eyes, he was Jeremiah smiling at his new founded idea but abruptly Ramona looked up.

"But sir, he is only a child and we can change the outcome of the-"

"SILENCE!" the judge yelled at her.

"Let me finish my sentence." The room went silent again.

"We as the council of heaven and helpers of the almighty God have decided to go a different path." Shock struck Ramona and Jeremiah.

"Since the human you were watching over Ramona has finally come to us, we want you to watch over this boy and help him choose the right paths. Jeremiah will help you watch over him as well." All the council members nodded their heads in agreement.

"Sir," Jeremiah whispered into the head councils ears, "I know it is not good to kill but this boy will cause trouble and there are only two more years left before that happens." The judge put his hand up to stop Jeremiah from speaking.

"That may be true but as long as Ramona watches over him from above, everything shall go well. Ramona is of course the strongest women guardian angel we have."  Jeremiah's eyes began to glow a deep blue.

"As you wish…" Were Jeremiahs last words before the memory blurred again. The next scene was in a lush green garden with white roses and small white marble water fountains that gushed water that looked so clean and pure.

"How are we supposed to lead him towards the right direction if the boy has already been spotted by that wretched demon? We can't even go down their without reason!" Jeremiah yelled in frustration while hastily walking back and forth.

"Jeremiah, everything will be alright. When the demon emerges, we are aloud to protect the boy –"

"THAT IS ONLY IF HE WILLS US TO COME!!!!" Jeremiah yelled at her. Ramona's eyes changed from calm to daring.

"Then are you going to go down there and just kill that child. It is against our rules and you know as well as I do what happens if we go against Gods wishes. We are of course Guardian Angels."  Jeremiah's anger was raging but once Ramona came close to him and hugged him from behind did he start to calm down.

"Don't worry, everything will be ok." Ramona reassured him. Jeremiah smiled but his body was still a little tensed.

"I know it will." The scene again began to change. Sebastian was now in front of the heaven's council but they were all dead. They were either beheaded, sliced in half, hanged, or even sliced into small bits and pieces. The room smelt of blood and copper. The sight of this all even disgusted Sebastian.

In the center of the room was Jeremiah with a heavenly sword drenched in dark crimson blood. It glowed a pure white and pulsated when the blood dripped from its tip into the mass puddles of blood.

"It's all their fault. If they would have only allowed us to kill that child…." Jeremiah's emotions were everywhere. The worst part of it was that he was beginning to laugh hysterically. Shadows began to drift around him, calling out his name and telling him that he can change everything and make it better. He just needed to kill the child.
From behind Sebastian came Ramona who swept past him towards Jeremiah.

Ramona, upon seeing what had happened fell to the now bloody floor. A ripple in the pool of blood could be seen moving slowly upon its never ending path.

"You…killed…them." Ramona tried to speak but her voice was hoarse and cracked.

"Well I had to my dear Ramona." Jeremiah responded back, wiping his sword on one of the council members now red stained capes and then putting it back in its sheath on the side of his waist.

"Why would you do this?" Ramona whimpered looking down at the red floor. A long silence went out through the room. Finally, Jeremiah walked towards her. Every step he took did the sea of blood move and waver. The shadows followed him. Only inches away from Ramona did he slowly lift up Ramona's face towards his.

He leaned in close enough to where he could have kissed her but instead said, "You cannot protect the ones you love without paying the cost for loving someone. Death will follow you soon enough and I will laugh at it when it happens…." With those last words that Ramona heard before Jeremiah dropped her onto the floor did he begin to walk away. Ramona was in a state of shock and just lay in the pool of blood. The shadows spread around the room constricting everything inside like a snake trying to suffocate it prey. The image began to fade but before it did Sebastian heard Jeremiah say, "For I am forsaken from heaven now; I will only laugh at you when you die because I know that what I've done will come back at me and I will have lost something so valuable to me that's irreplaceable in the entire universe. No matter what happens in the near future. Even if you hate me; I will protect you. I love you Ramona.

The whole world Sebastian had been seeing through his eyes turned black. Upon opening his them again did he notice that he was back in the room with Ramona now watching him closely.

"Now you know why I'm here." Ramona said.

"No, I don't know why you're here. I know how you got to behere but I do not know your goal." Sebastian responded. Ramona's anger began to boil. Digging into her hand with her nails did she tell him the rest.

"Once I had woken up I asked God to allow me the honor of going down to earth in human form to protect Ciel. I was able to become the head maid for Madame Red. She, James, George, and you are the only ones who know of this now." Ramona stood up and walked over to the fireplace where she gazed at the charcoaled wood crackling as the ashes and fire ate away at it.

"I promised myself that final day that I would protect Ciel with the cost of my life. To keep that monster away and from anyone else who tried to harm or kill him. This also includes you. In the end, I will kill you. I will never smile that warm smile again, have compassion for anyone, or love  like I used to." Sebastian didn't know what to say to Ramona. It sounded as though she didn't hear the last words Jeremiah had said before he left and being the demon he was he smirked a demonic smile.

"Well, now that you've told me. We may as well work together to stop Jeremiah." Sebastian said putting his hand out for Ramona to shake it. Ramona looked at his hand and then to his face. She really did hate this demon but couldn't stop being attracted to him which made her feel disgusted with herself. Attraction was different from love. It is a sin. The sin of wanting but not being able to have it. To stay strong she would have to push away such thoughts of him but if she wanted to stop Jeremiah from killing Ciel; she would need all the help that she could get even if it wore her out.

She took Sebastian's hand and gripped it hard with a look of confidence in her eyes.

"Then let's work well together until he is finally dead. I warn you though; Jeremiah is stronger than your regular guardian angel. I will not lie, I'm afraid I might not have the will to kill him." Ramona told Sebastian seriously. Sebastian smile grew and his eyes began to glow maliciously.

"Don't worry, you of course have me. Also, thank you." Sebastian said.

        "For what?" Ramona questioned.

"For telling me the truth." The sound of glass breaking into millions of pieces could be heard over by the young masters room. Instantly, both demon and guardian angel ran towards the sound finally being able to forget their differences.

That is for now at least.
